#BumiBelia competition

All too often, the stories of climate change, nature and the environment are led by examples that may not be relevant to our own local context. The #BumiBelia Stories Competition, held from September to October 2021, encouraged youth to discover and tell stories to inspire action within the local and cultural context of Malaysia.

Featuring submissions from youth in Malaysia aged 13 to 25, the #BumiBelia Stories explore memories of the past, celebrate today’s local environmental heroes in the local community, and ponder upon visions for the future.
