More young people are keen on green careers. More organisations are looking to hire green expertise. This programme bridges both sides – through work experience and fellowship!
The YELL Conservocation (Conservation + Vocation) Programme aims to expose and increase the interest of young people towards careers in conservation and sustainability through a funded 6-month work experience programme. While supporting the environmental agenda of organisations, the work experience programme is expected to benefit budding environmental stewards from intergenerational knowledge transfer from experienced practitioners in the sector.
In 2023, the pilot YELL Conservocation Programme successfully partnered with 7 environmental organisations to host the working experience programme for 7 young people that helped them gain experiences, skills and exposure in the conservation and sustainability sectors.
If your organisation aligns with our goals and is passionate about nurturing potential in young people, we welcome you to join our network of partners.
