Package Pals is a circular packaging initiative that seeks to reduce e-commerce packaging waste through the collection and distribution of second-hand packaging.
Example of key projects
The core activities of Package Pals include collecting packaging that can be reused through donations and distributing it to businesses. Through this, they also encourage businesses to reduce single-use packaging, which currently makes up one third of the domestic waste in Singapore. In one distribution session, Package Pals was able to distribute more than 1,000 pieces of packaging to businesses.
