Muhammad Hisyamuddin is a huge believer that raising awareness among the public needs to precede any environmental work or task. This comes after his experience of organizing a large-scale clean-up activity in a community. He was disappointed to see that it did not take long for the area to become messy again, which drives his belief that change needs to happen personally, then to those in one’s circle. To Hisyamuddin, what drives him is to fight for the future generation, where awareness of what one consumes and use will constantly affect the future in many ways.
