YELL #BumiBelia Stories

A few decades ago, this small yet heavy black box was a common sight in most households. Back when the local TV stations were still broadcasting P. Ramlee movies on-air, this ancient relic was the source of fond memories among most people in those days regardless of their race, gender, or age. For some individuals, a simple picture like this is enough to evoke a sense of nostalgia.

As time progressed, so did technology. Nowadays, it's more common to find this type of television at your local junkyard or even at inappropriate locations such as the one in this photo. Seeing the amount of junk produced as the byproduct of humanity's continuous pursuit for modernization has often made me reflect upon the less-discussed drawbacks of said advancements; e-waste (electronic waste). Therefore, I'd like to contribute to a future where society will finally take this issue seriously before it's too late.
