On 30 September 2025, YELL in partnership with MareCet and WWF-Malaysia was invited to organise a session on 'Voices for the Future: Youth Rising for a Greener Tomorrow’ at Tunku Kurshiah College's International Youth Climate Action Convention 2025.
The session engaged young people in Malaysia to equipping them with the appropriate knowledge on marine animals in Malaysia as well as exploring conservation and research opportunities as potential career pathways.

On 6 & 7 May 2025, we organised a Seed Grantee Workshop for 14 active projects that YELL is funding to provide grantees with an opportunity for mentorship, physical networking and peer-to-peer learning.
