YELL Seed Grantee Workshop

On 6 & 7 May 2025, we organised a Seed Grantee Workshop for 14 active projects that YELL is funding to provide grantees with an opportunity for mentorship, physical networking and peer-to-peer learning.

Over the two-day workshop, grantees interacted with invited speakers and each other on topics on evaluation effectiveness on Environmental Education initiatives, tips on starting a children’s storybook, brainstormed nature interpretation ideas, gender mainstreaming principles, creating games for environmental education, Free Prior Informed Consent (FPIC) as a fundamental project design principle, and what it means to safeguard children’s rights in a project.
